East Court Residence is a 10 storey life lease building holding 249 senior apartments and bed sitting units. The design is for a mid-rise building which also holds residential amenities, dining room, retail, and medical offices. The result is a true expression of multi-use development geared to seniors in Toronto.
Starting in 2015, CXT together with a team of consultants successfully navigated a complicated planning process which resulted in the allowance of increased height and density through the rezoning and site plan agreement processes. The project is expected to move into construction documents in 2021.
